MediCoRe, an acronym for “Mediterranean Community Resilience”, is an initiative promoted by the Polytechnic University of Bari to address the emerging challenges of the Mediterranean related to climate change, environmental sustainability and infrastructure security. Coordinated by the Department of Civil, Environmental, Territorial, Construction and Chemical Engineering (DICATECh), the project aims to improve the resilience of Mediterranean communities through cooperation in research, training and technology transfer. MediCoRe intends to become a hub in Puglia, a catalyst for the Mediterranean countries, promoting actions based on the principles of internationalization and cooperation.
